Project Overview: We are seeking a senior WordPress Developer to migrate our existing self-hosted blog from Elementor to Bricks Builder. Our site is a Wikipedia-style study guide/reference resource. We are moving away from Elementor due to performance bloat and technical debt. We want a modern, flexible, and blazing-fast site built with a clean, class-first methodology.
Technical Stack:
- Builder: Bricks Builder (Latest Version).
- Framework/Library: Brixie (We have a license).
- Current State: Elementor Pro + Various bloated plugins.
- Target State: Lightweight Bricks build with minimal dependencies.
Scope of Work:
- Full Rebuild: Recreate our current design (1:1 visual match) using Bricks.
- Global Class System: Implement a logical CSS class system for all UI elements (using Bricks' native Global Classes or a framework like ACSS if recommended).
- Template Creation: Build dynamic templates for:
- Single Post Template (optimized for high-readability study guides).
- Archive/Category Pages (using Bricks Query Loops).
Requirements:
- Proven experience with Bricks Builder (Please provide 2-3 live examples of Bricks sites you have built).
- Deep understanding of CSS Grid, Flexbox, and semantic HTML.
- Experience with Brixie or similar component libraries.
- Ability to work in a staging environment and handle the final "live" swap with zero downtime.
- Experience with ACSS or Frames.
