We are building a simple MVP AI assistant for a restaurant menu using n8n.
Goal: Create an n8n workflow that answers customer questions strictly based on a structured file. This is a prototype for validation.
Scope:
- Load menu JSON
- OpenAI integration
- AI answers menu-related questions only
- Respond to webhook
- Basic logging
The AI must handle:
- Recommendations (best sellers, popular, new dishes, promotions)
- Kids-friendly dishes
- Vegetarian dishes
- Spicy level filtering
- Ingredients & allergens
- Dish comparison
- Pairing suggestions (wine/beer, for 2 or 4 people)
- Price filtering (under X €, cheapest, etc.)
Important:
- AI must NOT hallucinate
- Must answer only using provided data
- If data not available → clearly say so
- Clean prompt structure required
Deliverable: Exported n8n workflow.
