Aussie band looking for someone to help complete a project. We're looking for a Blender artist to help finalise a stylised music video. The creative and technical setup is already done.
We have:
- A completed Blender file (monolith scene, lighting, materials set up)
- Keyed green screen footage for each band member (transparent ProRes files)
- Clear shot direction and examples
- No modelling required
- No compositing required
- No green screen work required
We need someone to:
- Import the provided alpha video files into the Blender scene
- Place each performer in the scene
- Create subtle push-in / pull-out camera movements
- Add slight handheld motion to the camera
- Ensure performers feel grounded (minor shadow work where needed)
- Render out final 2K video files for each shot
Scene Details:
- Blender 5.0
- Cycles render engine
- Stylised glowing monolith as primary light source
- Dark liminal space environment
- Performers appear silhouetted / partially rim-lit by the monolith
- One performer per shot (no multi-person compositing)
Each band member has been filmed with full body and medium shots from waist up. Every shot will be trimmed to the exact length needed.
- Subtle dolly push/pull in some shots
- Slight handheld feel (very minimal)
- 1-10 seconds per shot
- 2K output (2048 wide)
- 25fps
- 3 minute and 20 seconds total video time when all shots are combined (so all video files will add up to no longer than that length)
This isn’t heavy VFX work, just clean camera animation with some minor positioning adjustments and lighting integration. A relatively quick job for some easy cash. We aren’t looking for someone to redesign the scene, just someone who can execute within the existing aesthetic. Unfortunately I can’t complete it myself with other commitments.
Deliverables will be all shots rendered .mp4 or ProRes files (2K, 25fps). Contract duration of 1 to 3 months.
Mandatory skills: Blender, Video Production, Music Video, Animated Environment, 3D Modeling, 3D Rendering
