We are looking for an experienced MacOS desktop application developer to help us build a Mac version of our existing Windows desktop application. We already have a fully functional and mature Windows client built in .NET/WPF/WebView2. Your task will be to replicate the same features, behaviour, and user experience on MacOS. This is not a new product from scratch — you will be working from an existing, production-ready system.
What You'll Do
- Develop a native or cross-platform MacOS desktop client equivalent to our Windows version.
- Recreate all major features:
- Real-time notifications (SignalR)
- API integration
- Auto-update mechanism
- Embedded web views
- System tray / background behaviour
Required Skills
- Strong experience with MacOS desktop development (Swift/SwiftUI, Cocoa, Electron, MAUI, Avalonia, or similar)
- Experience building production-grade desktop apps
- REST API integration
- WebSockets / real-time communication
- Secure storage and authentication handling
- Git / version control
Preferred (Bonus)
- Experience porting Windows apps to Mac
- Knowledge of .NET / C#
- Experience with cross-platform frameworks
- Experience with auto-update systems
