The predicted salary is between 10 - 25 £ per hour.

Scope of Work

For each project, you will:

  • Review architectural + structural plans
  • Perform full framing and siding takeoffs
  • Quantify demolition scope where applicable
  • Build detailed material quantity breakdowns
  • Forecast labor hours based on production rates
  • Identify scope gaps, structural conflicts, and risk items
  • Deliver completed estimates within 24 hours

Projects range from 2,000 – 50,000 residential builds and small multifamily.

Required Experience

You must:

  • Have proven residential estimating experience
  • Understand structural sheets fluently
  • Accurately forecast labor based on production rates
  • Understand framing systems (LVLs, beams, trusses, connectors)
  • Understand siding systems
  • Use Bluebeam, Planswift, or similar software
  • Deliver clean, organized reports
  • Hit deadlines without follow-up

This role requires both quantity takeoffs and labour intelligence.

Deliverables

For each job:

  • Organized material takeoff
  • Clear quantity summary
  • Labour hour breakdown (required)
  • Notes on missing details or potential risk

Compensation

£10–£25/hour (40+H a week) depending on experience. Consistent ongoing work for strong performance. Speed and accuracy are non-negotiable. Contract duration of 1 to 3 months, with 40 hours per week.

Mandatory skills: Construction, Autodesk AutoCAD, Architectural Design, Microsoft Excel, Drafting, Construction Estimating, Estimator.
