Project Overview: We are a small team of finance and investment professionals looking for an expert instructor to teach us how to leverage Claude Code to automate and drive efficiency in data-heavy workflows.

The Objective: Move our team beyond simple chat interfaces to using Claude Code directly in the terminal to manipulate files, analyze data sets, and automate repetitive reporting tasks.

Scope of Training (Post-Installation Focus): We need a structured short course (e.g., 2–3 workshops) covering:

  • Navigating the Interface on Windows: Using PowerShell/Terminal for Claude Code interaction.
  • Best practices for directory management and file access permissions.
  • Data-Driven Workflows: How to instruct Claude Code to ingest and analyze multiple files simultaneously (Excel, CSV, PDF).
  • Techniques for cleaning, merging, and restructuring datasets across different sources.
  • Automation & Scripting: Building simple, repeatable commands to automate routine weekly tasks (e.g., "Take these 3 reports, merge them, and flag variances"). Creating reusable prompts/scripts for standard operating procedures.
  • Error Handling & Quality Control: How to verify Claude's output and troubleshoot when it gets stuck.

Deliverables:

  • Live Group Training Sessions: 2–3 interactive sessions (60–90 mins each) for 3–5 people.
  • Custom "Cheat Sheet": A PDF reference guide for Windows commands and high-value prompts specific to data analysis.
  • Q&A / Debugging: A final follow-up session to review real-world attempts by the team.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Windows Expert: You must be comfortable teaching this in a Windows environment (PowerShell/CMD), not just Mac/Linux.
  • Data Background: You understand financial/business data structures (CSVs, Excel logic) and how to manipulate them.
  • Teacher/Trainer: Experience breaking down CLI/technical concepts for business professionals.
  • Claude Code Experience: You have used Anthropic's tools specifically for file manipulation and coding tasks.

Contract duration of less than 1 month with 30 hours per week.
