The Role:
- A skilled video editor with strong aesthetic judgment to support video content creation for a premium personal brand and boutique agency focused on authority positioning for founders.
Contract structure:
- You will be paid per video to start.
- If you are a good fit, you will receive a monthly rate with a set number of deliverables.
- If you are a good fit, your roles will expand to doing client work as well.
- The role may also expand to YouTube video edits in the future.
What You'll Do:
- Edit short-form videos (Reels / Shorts / TikTok).
- Create aesthetic vlog-style edits and polished talking-head videos.
- Select the best footage from well-organized folders.
- Apply consistent color grading, pacing, and visual tone.
- Add minimal, tasteful text overlays when needed.
You will receive:
- A clear content brief.
- Brand visual preferences.
- Aspirational reference videos.
- Sometimes exact photos/videos to use, other times freedom to select from folders (Flexibility is important).
Editing Style:
- Clean, modern, minimal.
- Strong sense of pacing.
- Consistent color grading.
- Subtle transitions (or none).
- Premium / boutique feel (No loud effects, over-captioning, or trend chasing).
Tools & Skills Required:
- CapCut / Premiere Pro / Final Cut / Instagram Edits.
