I'm looking for a talented illustrator to create clean, high-quality black & white line art for an upcoming activity / colouring book aimed at preteens / teens. This is a creative, story-driven project that requires consistency, attention to detail, and strong character illustration skills. All concepts, page layouts, and references are already prepared. You will receive a clear brief per illustration.

What I'm Looking For:

  • Strong experience in black & white line art
  • Ability to draw expressive faces and consistent characters
  • Clean, printable illustrations (no shading, no colour)
  • Comfortable working with recurring characters across multiple scenes
  • Familiar with colouring book standards (clear lines, no clutter)
  • Able to follow briefs accurately and communicate clearly

Project Scope:

  • 36 illustrations
  • Mix of character scenes and simple environments
  • All illustrations will be A4-friendly

Style Requirements:

  • Clean black line art
  • No grey shading
  • No AI-looking shortcuts
  • Expressive but not overly detailed
  • Suitable for colouring by hand
  • No branding, no real people, no copyrighted likenesses
