I'm looking for a freelance graphic designer to create 8 unique souvenir coaster designs to be printed on ceramic coasters and sold in tourist shops in Prince Edward Island (PEI), Canada. The style should feel coastal, nautical, and travel-souvenir, with strong visual appeal for visitors.
Scope of Work
- Create 8 original, distinct designs (a cohesive set, but each design should stand alone)
- Designs will be printed on ceramic coasters sized 10cm x 10cm (square)
- Artwork must be print-ready and suitable for commercial production
Creative Direction
Each design should include imagery/icons/landmarks that reflect PEI's coastal culture and nautical vibe, for example:
- Lighthouses, anchors, sailboats, lobsters, buoys, knots, waves, compass roses
- PEI coastal scenery and recognizable local themes (harbours, beaches, fishing heritage)
- Travel-souvenir energy that tourists would want on a coffee table back home
Deliverables (Required)
For each of the 8 designs, please provide:
- Print-ready file sized to 10cm x 10cm (with appropriate bleed/safe area if needed)
- Vector source file (AI/EPS/SVG) + high-res export (PDF/PNG, 300 DPI minimum)
- Fonts converted to outlines (or supply font files if licensing allows)
- Clean, organized layers and naming
Style Notes
- Clean, modern, commercially appealing souvenir designs
- Strong composition and readability at coaster size
- Must be original work (no stock art that can't be licensed for resale)
What I'm Looking For
- Strong illustration or graphic design skills
- Experience designing print products (stickers, coasters, magnets, postcards, etc.)
- Ability to produce production-ready files with attention to detail
- Contract duration of less than 1 month.
Mandatory skills: Graphic Design, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Brand Identity & Guidelines
