The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.

We are an Ecommerce marketplace based in Africa, managing 20,000+ SKUs across skincare, hair, makeup, and wellness. We are entering our structured paid acquisition phase and are looking for an experienced Google Shopping expert who understands large catalog ecommerce and marketplace dynamics.

You will lead the strategy and execution of:

  • Google Merchant Center setup & optimization
  • Feed structure for 20,000+ SKUs
  • Google Shopping campaigns
  • Performance Max campaigns
  • ROAS optimization
  • Budget scaling strategy
  • Design custom label strategy (margin, bestseller, category tiers)
  • Build scalable campaign structure for a large catalog
  • Implement Performance Max correctly (segmented, not full-feed blind push)
  • Optimize bidding strategy based on SKU-level margin
  • Set up conversion tracking properly
  • Create reporting dashboard (ROAS, CPA, AOV, category performance)
  • Advise on hero SKU selection for paid campaigns
  • Ensure compliance for supplements & health-related ads

Must have:

  • 5+ years running Google Ads for ecommerce
  • Proven experience managing 5,000+ SKUs
  • Deep Google Merchant Center experience
  • Performance Max expertise
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce profitability metrics

Bonus:

  • Experience in beauty / health ecommerce
  • Marketplace experience (not just single-brand stores)
  • Experience in emerging markets

Contract duration of 1 to 3 months with 30 hours per week.
