Hello, we are looking for a ghostwriter for a German short story book project. The plan is to write approximately 10 storytime-style short stories, each around 2,000–2,500 words. All stories should be written in a consistent style. We will provide a sample short story that clearly defines the tone and style the rest of the book should follow.
Before moving forward with the full book, it is very important to us to receive a trial text or test short story to ensure the style is a good fit.
Ghostwriter must-haves:
- Extensive experience with books or longer-form texts
- Willingness to do video calls or phone calls if needed
- Open to writing a trial text
- Familiar with and willing to sign a full rights transfer agreement
- Open to feedback and revisions
Nice to have (not required, but a big plus):
- Degree in German studies, journalism, literature, or creative writing
- Experience with storytelling, autobiographical writing, or memoirs
Working style (very important):
- Working in stages, not delivering everything at once
- Scheduled feedback rounds
- Option to revise or discontinue the collaboration after individual stages if it's not the right fit
If you have experience in personal storytelling, ghostwriting, or book projects, we would love to hear from you. We will then send you the sample text and a short story idea for the trial assignment.
Best regards, Doa
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months, with 30 hours per week.
