We are seeking skilled French Translators and Conversion Copywriters to help us reach users in languages other than English. We are a Hosting Technology Company, and very importantly, we don't just need translation, we need localization to the target country/language. We are looking for writers who can take our English landing pages and adapt them for specific local markets. You must be able to translate the text accurately while adapting cultural nuances to ensure the message resonates with local customers. The goal is not just to rank (SEO), but to convert visitors into users (CRO).
If you have experience writing persuasive sales copy for the tech or hosting industry and understand how to balance SEO keywords with user experience, we want to hear from you. The target language for this position is French.
Rate & Volume:
- Payment: $35-50 per approved landing page.
- Volume: Approximately 2–4 web pages per week.
Your Core Responsibilities
- Translate & Localize: Translate landing pages from English to your native language. Go beyond word-for-word translation to adapt idioms, cultural references, and tone to fit the local market.
- No AI Translations: We will scan all translations to ensure they are not AI generated, and also use internal language experts to cross-verify accuracy. We will withhold payment for translations that are clearly AI generated.
- Conversion Copywriting (CRO): Ensure the translated content is persuasive. Headlines, subheaders, and Calls to Action (CTAs) must be compelling and drive users to sign up or purchase.
- SEO Optimization: Integrate provided keywords naturally into the target language. Advise on local search trends and ensure meta titles/descriptions are optimized for your specific region.
- Tech Accuracy: Maintain accurate terminology regarding web hosting and technology. Ensure technical specs remain precise during translation.
- CMS Implementation: Upload and format the content directly onto our website/CMS.
- Quality Assurance: Proofread and edit to ensure high-quality, error-free output that aligns with our brand voice.
Requirements
- Native Proficiency: You must be a native speaker of the target language with fluent English skills.
- Tech/Hosting Knowledge: Prior experience writing or translating for the Web Hosting, SaaS, or Tech industries is highly preferred.
- CRO & SEO Knowledge: A strong understanding of on-page SEO (keywords, headers) and Conversion Rate Optimization (how to write copy that sells).
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow complex instructions regarding formatting and brand tone.
- Reliability: Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver consistent work weekly.
How to Apply
Please answer the following in your proposal:
- Which target language are you applying for?
- Do you have experience with Web Hosting or Technology terminology?
- Please provide samples of Landing Pages or Sales Copy you have translated or written (not just blog posts).
We look forward to working with talented experts who can help us speak the language of our global customers while driving growth. Thank you.
