We are a growing marketing agency looking for a part-time Financial Operations Manager to own our end-to-end financial tracking.
Responsibilities:
– Operational Oversight: Manage and categorize operational expenses (SaaS subscriptions, office costs).
– Payroll & Commissions: Calculate and process monthly payments for staff and sales commissions.
– Contractor Management: Ensure all 1099/freelance contractors are paid on time and track their costs against specific client projects.
– Revenue Tracking: Monitor client retainers and ensure billing aligns with our revenue recognition goals.
– Financial Projections: Maintain a rolling 6-month cash flow forecast and project profitability.
Required Experience:
– Agency Experience: Must understand the agency model (retainers, project-based billing, and utilization rates).
– Tech Stack: Expert in QuickBooks.
– Spreadsheet Wizardry: Ability to build and maintain complex projection models in Excel.
– Attention to Detail: You\’ll be responsible for making sure our team gets paid accurately.
Budget & Commitment:
This is a monthly commitment of approximately 5-10 hours. We are looking for a long-term partner, not a one-time project.
Contract duration of 3 to 6 months.
Mandatory skills: Bookkeeping, Accounting, Financial Modeling, Microsoft Excel
