How to prepare for a job interview at FreelanceJobs
✨Showcase Your Unique Style
Make sure to bring a strong portfolio that highlights your unique designs, especially in daily, office, and party wear. We recommend including sketches that reflect your personal style and how it aligns with the brand's vision for mid-range to premium clothing.
✨Know Your Fabrics
Familiarise yourself with different fabrics and trims that suit the styles you’ll be designing. During the interview, be ready to discuss your fabric choices and how they enhance the overall design. This shows your understanding of garment production and quality.
✨Prepare Tech Packs
Since detailed tech packs are crucial for garment production, we suggest preparing a sample tech pack to present during your interview. This will demonstrate your ability to communicate design details effectively and your readiness to support the production process.
✨Communicate Clearly
Good communication is key, especially when discussing revisions or feedback. Practice articulating your design choices and be open to suggestions. This will show that you’re not just a talented designer but also a collaborative partner who can grow with the brand.
