Are you a fast, technical editor who hates waiting for assets? We are Something New, a D2C performance agency. We are hiring a dedicated Video Editor to handle our daily volume of Client Ads (Meta/TikTok) and Agency Content (YouTube).

Something New is a high-performance agency scaling D2C brands through a conversion-obsessed system. We don’t guess; we test. To do that, we need a Production Engine—someone who can take a brief from our CreativeOS and turn it into a high-converting video asset without needing their hand held.

We are looking for a Video Editor who is obsessed with speed, precision, and motion. You will be responsible for our clients' performance ads and the high-quality internal content that builds our agency's brand.

The Mission

Your goal is simple: Execute the Vision. We provide the strategy, the scripts, and the raw footage inside CreativeOS—our central hub for all brand info, product assets, and ad briefs. Your job is to take those ingredients and cook.

Core Responsibilities

  • Performance Ad Execution (Client Work): Rapidly assemble high-converting video ads (UGC, VSLs, Founder Stories) for Meta and TikTok based on strict briefs.
  • Internal Content Production (Agency Work): Edit high-retention organic content for Something New's own channels. This includes our internal YouTube content, social clips, and agency case studies.
  • Motion Graphics & Polish: Use After Effects to create "Pattern Interrupts"—custom kinetic typography, visual overlays, and animations that stop the scroll.
  • High-Volume Iteration: Rapidly produce 5–10 variations of a single concept (e.g., swapping the Hook, changing the music, adjusting the pacing) based on performance data.
  • Asset Management: Maintain pristine organization. You ensure that any team member can find any project file in seconds.

The First 90 Days

  • Week 1: Master CreativeOS. Your #1 priority is to fully download our brain. You must learn where every brand asset, campaign brief, and product info lives inside CreativeOS (Notion). By Friday, you will deliver 5 test edits using the system perfectly.
  • Day 30: You are hitting a velocity of 10+ unique deliverables per week, fully integrated into our review cycle. You are seamlessly switching between Client Ads and Agency Internal Content.
  • Day 90: You are the owner of the video pipeline for 5 key accounts + our internal channel, delivering 20+ assets per week with zero technical revisions needed.

Must-Have Skills (Non-Negotiable)

  • Adobe Premiere Pro: Expert proficiency. You know every shortcut and your workflow is lightning fast.
  • Adobe After Effects: Intermediate to Advanced. You can template text animations and create custom visual effects.
  • CreativeOS (Notion) Fluency: You are highly organized. You understand that if it’s not in Notion, it didn’t happen. Proficient in using timestamped comments for revisions.
  • Platform Mastery: Perfect understanding of safe zones and export settings for TikTok (9:16) vs YouTube (16:9).

Nice-to-Haves

  • YouTube Retention Editing: Experience editing long-form talking head content (10+ mins) that keeps viewers watching.
  • AI Workflow Experience: Familiarity with tools like Topaz (upscaling), Descript, or ElevenLabs to speed up your workflow.

Offer:

  • Full-time workload.
  • Long-term contract for the right "Engine."
  • Pay: $1,100 – $1,450 USD / Month (₱60k – ₱80k PHP).
  • Contract duration of more than 6 months.
