I am looking for a freelancer to build a simple AI-powered WhatsApp chatbot prototype for a student academic project. The chatbot should:
- Work on WhatsApp using Twilio or a similar API
- Use OpenAI (ChatGPT API) for generating responses
- Be designed for elderly users, with simple and friendly conversations
- Send basic reminders (medicine, hydration, daily check-ins)
- Include a simple emergency keyword response feature
- (Optional but preferred) store basic user details like name or medicine schedule using a lightweight database or Pinecone for memory
This is not a large commercial product. It is a functional academic prototype, so the focus is on working features and clarity of setup rather than production-level deployment.
Deliverables expected:
- A working WhatsApp chatbot connected to OpenAI
- Simple backend setup (Flask, Node, or no-code solution are all acceptable)
- Clear instructions on how to run and test the bot
- Basic documentation explaining the architecture and components
I am looking for someone who communicates clearly, can suggest a simple architecture for a prototype, and can complete this within a reasonable student budget. Contract duration of less than 1 month, with 30 hours per week.
