I'm looking for beta readers to provide feedback on a 69,000 word social satire / comedy novel. 'Cuckoo for Crackers' is a funny and action packed story about how society is divided by the madness of mass consumerism.
While shopping chaos decimates much of the town, a lackadaisical destitute and his best friend face the impossible task of turning a derelict wasteland into a fun-filled extravaganza. The prize for success however, might just be the solution to the madness.
Responsibilities include reading the full manuscript and providing honest and constructive feedback within the Google Forms questionnaire provided. Feedback questions concern clarity, character development, plot consistency, and pacing.
Candidates must enjoy reading books and find the story and genre of interest. Experience in beta reading and providing feedback for written material is preferable. The turnover for this stage of the project is generous enough for readers to read the text and provide feedback, but staying on schedule and providing feedback to deadline is essential to ensure efficient progress of the project.
