I'm looking for an experienced Amazon/Walmart marketplace specialist to:
- Evaluate the opportunity for launching a macadamia-based product.
- If viable, prepare optimized listing + initial ads structure - we are looking primarily at Amazon, but Walmart too.
This is a 2 phase project. Phase 2 starts only after Phase 1 is approved.
Phase 1 — Market Research (Required First)Platforms: Amazon US + Walmart US
Product types to analyze:- Plain macadamia butter (jarred, please pay attention if it is plastic or glass jars)
- Flavored/add-on macadamia butter (in jars, please pay attention if it is plastic or glass jars)
- Packed macadamia nuts (plain)
- Coated and/or flavored macadamia nuts
- Clear identification of the most promising segment (demand + room to compete)
- Competitive landscape overview (top brands, review levels, saturation level)
- Pricing analysis and recommended "sweet spot" (considering jars: glass/plastic and pure macadamia products, with add-ons like flavour etc, but without cheaper nuts like peanuts)
- Common pack sizes and positioning patterns
- Key risks (margin pressure, ad competitiveness, compliance/claims issues)
- Notes on customer complaints/opportunities from reviews
- Structured spreadsheet with data
- Concise 1–2 page summary with clear recommendation:
- Which segment to enter
- At what price range
- In what format
The goal is simple: Where is best to enter, how to position, and at what price.
Phase 2: Listing & Ads (After Approval)- Keyword research
- Optimized title, bullets, description
- Image structure guidance
- Amazon + Walmart listing and ads structure (campaign layout, starting budget guidance, early optimization plan)

Contract duration of less than 1 month, with 30 hours per week.
