We are looking for an experienced 3D artist to create a high-quality, realistic 3D model of a retractable patio awning, including a smooth open/close animation. This model will be used inside a Unity-based product configurator, so it must be optimized, modular, and built with color/material flexibility in mind. The final files must be fully compatible with Blender for future editing.
Scope of Work
- A Detailed 3D Model of a Retractable Awning
- Cassette housing
- Roller tube
- Articulated arms
- Fabric canopy
- Mounting brackets
- Motor housing (if applicable)
The model should be:
- Clean topology
- Game-ready optimized
- Properly grouped and organized
- Built to real-world scale (we will provide dimensions)
- Open & Close Animation
- Smooth mechanical extension animation
- Proper arm articulation (realistic motion)
- Fabric extending naturally with no clipping
- Loop-ready animation for Unity use
Material & Color Flexibility (Very Important)
We need the model structured so that:
- Fabric material can be easily swapped (30+ fabric textures)
- Frame colors can be swapped (white, black, sand, etc.)
