The programme is overseen by a qualified BCBA consultant who will provide full, ongoing training — making this an excellent opportunity for candidates eager to develop specialist skills in Applied Behaviour Analysis.

You will work across both a home setting and a mainstream school, delivering structured 1:1 support and helping the learner thrive socially and academically.

  • Implement strategies and targets set by the BCBA in classroom and home settings
  • Deliver academic targets in 1:1 sessions based on the BCBA programme
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities to develop social communication and peer interaction
  • Collaborate with the ABA team and family, sharing regular feedback on sessions
  • Collect and record data on a daily basis as evidence of progress
  • Prepare, file, and maintain data recording sheets
  • Work closely with the classroom teacher and SENCO on a daily basis
Desirable Skills & Experience
  • Knowledge of play skills and social communication development with secondary-aged pupils
  • Understanding of working with young people with additional learning needs (ALN)
  • Previous experience as an ABA Tutor (not essential — full training is provided)
  • Experience with Speech and Language Therapy (SALT) approaches is an advantage
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • At least 1 year of experience in a school or educational setting preferred
