Role Overview: We’re looking for a confident, caring, and proactive Support Worker to work closely with a young person, helping them build independence, confidence, and life skills in a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Build a strong, positive relationship with the young person
- Support emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour
- Encourage independence through activities and daily routines
- Help create a safe, structured, and engaging environment
- Be a consistent, reliable presence they can trust
- Record progress and communicate effectively with the wider team
Requirements:
- Experience supporting young people with additional needs (ASD, ADHD, mental health)
- Level 3 in Social Care (or similar) preferred
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience
- Calm, resilient, and confident in challenging situations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must be a driver
