Location: Redhill, Surrey

Days/Hours: Fridays: 10:30 am to 13:30 pm

Salary: £14.00 to £15.50

Roles: We’re currently seeking enthusiastic and caring Child‑care Practitioners to work in a local Creche. The roles will be Creche Assistants and Creche Leaders.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the overall safety and well‑being of the child/children and staff within your care.
  • Report any safeguarding issues to the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
  • Complete relevant Safeguarding forms and send them to Head Office.
  • Report any accidents/incidents and concerns to the Setting Manager/Childcare Manager.
  • Complete a risk assessment on arrival for every creche that you lead, and upload or email to the Childcare department.
  • Set up the creche room/venue in adequate time before the start of the creche.
  • Follow paperwork procedures.
  • At the end of the creche, ensure all paperwork is completed and pack away all creche kit appropriately.

Requirements:

  • Level 2/3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in a Creche environment.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding policies.
  • Warm, nurturing, and energetic personality.
  • Good communication skills and a team mindset.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service.
  • Completion of mandatory training within the probation period (training provided).
