Freedom are looking for creative, energetic, positive youth/child workers who can help support young people. Great rates of pay, also travel and mileage paid.

The role is to provide:

Outside activities might include nature walks, beach visits, visits to animal sanctuaries etc. Activities will be created to fit the young person’s interests and likes and dislikes. The activities are used as a tool for engagement and relationship building. The real work comes when the young person develops a working relationship and starts to talk about their thoughts and feelings; this is where we can guide and support them into making better choices and look for ways they can improve their future outcomes.

Ideal candidates would come from a background of youth work and child social care, experience in Mental Health, eating disorders, self-harm and absconding. We can offer extensive training; however, you will mostly be working alone so being confident with young people is essential. This is a zero hours contract, which means you can be flexible and fit in working hours around your lifestyle.
