Responsibilities- Train at one of the top-performing colleges or training providers in the country.
- Learn about our award-winning approach to working safely.
- Work at offices and undertake site visits.
- Be prepared for early starts and travel away from home when necessary.
- Develop great working relationships with some of the industry’s most talented people.
- Have a strong support network to build your confidence and use your initiative.
- Support our team of surveyors on a variety of client sites to collect land and building measurements.
- Use geospatial techniques to plan and prepare a project brief per client specification.
- Set up survey technology, perform equipment checks and adjustments, and operate under guidance from a senior surveyor.
- Process survey data and produce technical drawings in line with client requirements using software such as AutoCAD.
- Maintain and clean all equipment and vehicles before travel and on return from site.
- Complete all project administration including risk assessments.
- Follow processes to align with ISO accreditations, support sustainability goals, maintain high-quality work, and prioritise Health and Safety.
- Have a valid UK driving licence.

- Are physically fit – site days involve being on your feet for long hours in various conditions.
You will attend Dudley College/T3 Training on block release to complete the Level 3 Geospatial Survey Technician apprenticeship, and regularly attend in-house training as part of the programme.
To apply you need- To have a valid UK driving licence, and
- 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) – Grade B/6 or above in Maths, and Grade C/4 or above in English Language, Science, and Geography.
- Must be able to complete the apprenticeship within the required time, including End-Point Assessment.
- Must have a valid and eligible residency status and the right to work in England.
- Must be ordinarily resident in the UK or its territories for at least 3 years before starting the apprenticeship.
