As a PMS Consultant at Litera, you will be part of a dynamic team passionate about driving innovation in the legal technology space. You will work with cutting‑edge tools and collaborate with industry experts to deliver solutions that make a real difference in the legal profession.

Key Responsibilities

  • Successful implementation of Litera’s legal practice management software (PMS) to customers.
  • Guide and advise other consultants engaged on customer implementations with dependencies or connections to finance.
  • Act as subject‑matter expert on the financial operations of a legal services business.
  • Participate in key customer meetings (project kick‑offs, escalations, project meetings).
  • Participate in the creation and/or completion of documentation to capture customer‑specific configurations – advanced, technical, or expert level.
  • Oversee PMS migrations and provide sign‑off/approval before go‑live.
  • Ensure the smooth handover from project delivery into business‑as‑usual (BAU) support with sign‑off/approval.
  • Advise the support team on legal finance issues as needed.
  • Support the sales team in customer meetings requiring expertise in legal finance management software, migrations, and integrations.
  • Collaborate with product management to provide information that enables effective decision‑making regarding our PMS development.
  • Engage with new and existing customers to maximize usage and value of the PMS.
  • Share knowledge to increase competency across internal teams regarding legal practice management software.
  • Make recommendations on the best use of the Peppermint solution.
  • Provide management with regular, timely updates.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience implementing software solutions in law firms or other regulatory environments.
  • Previous consultancy experience in a fee‑earning professional services role.
  • Deep knowledge of financial processes and systems (ideally legal finance systems and regulations).
  • Ability to identify, prioritise and manage gaps in delivery and post‑delivery processes, procedures, and documentation.
  • Advanced understanding of Peppermint software functionality (on the job development acceptable).
  • Degree level qualification (ideally in business or technology) or equivalent experience.
  • Professional memberships or qualifications supporting knowledge (ILFM, LexEl, ICO, accountancy quals).
  • Technical documentation writing and adherence to standard methodology.
  • Experience supporting pre‑sales activities in a consultancy role.
  • C level client‑facing experience.
  • Proven technical ability to implement functionality into software.
  • Understanding of law firm operations, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Experience working with partners and third‑party vendors.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Clear articulation and problem‑solving skills.
  • Tenacious attitude.

  • Annual salary range $80,000 to $95,000 for New Jersey applicants; actual compensation determined by education, experience, certifications, and other qualifications.
