A growing care provider seeks an experienced Financial Controller to manage day to day financial operations and support strategic business growth. The successful candidate will oversee financial controls, compliance, and a small administrative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end to end monthly payroll, pensions, and staff expenses in line with UK employment law.
- Oversee accurate client invoicing, private billing, and supplier payments.
- Maintain robust financial controls, cash flow monitoring, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and financial reports.
- Ensure full compliance with HMRC, Companies House, and sector regulatory financial standards.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a small team of business administrators.
Requirements
- Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller, ideally within a service provision business.
- Expert proficiency in Xero accounting software.
- Strong understanding of UK payroll, VAT, and financial regulations.
