This role matters. A lot. At Freedom Recruitment Capital, onboarding is not admin. It is the moment someone steps out of employment and into business ownership. The Client Onboarding Manager owns that moment. You will be the person who takes a newly signed founder by the hand and calmly, confidently guides them from “I’ve just made a huge life decision” to “I’m live, trading, and supported.” This role sits right at the heart of our purpose: changing people’s lives by helping them build their own recruitment businesses, without the usual risk.
The role in plain English
You will have complete ownership of the onboarding journey for every new client that joins Freedom. That means:
- You are the central point of coordination
- You are the calm presence when things feel overwhelming
- You are the organiser, the communicator, the relationship builder
- You make sure nothing drops, slips, or surprises anyone
You will work closely with founders, internal teams, and external suppliers to ensure every onboarding is smooth, structured, and human.
What you will actually be doing
- Owning the full onboarding process from signed agreement to “fully live”
- Acting as the main point of contact for new clients during onboarding
- Coordinating multiple workstreams at once (legal, finance, tech, branding, suppliers)
- Managing timelines, dependencies, and expectations with clarity and confidence
- Proactively chasing actions before they become problems
- Translating complex processes into calm, clear next steps for clients
- Building strong relationships with founders, suppliers, and internal teams
- Spotting risk early and resolving issues without drama
- Continuously improving the onboarding experience as we scale
You will be spinning a lot of plates. But you’ll always know exactly where each one is.
Who this role is perfect for
You are someone who:
- Is naturally organised and thrives on structure
- Stays calm when others feel under pressure
- Has high emotional intelligence and reads the room well
- Builds trust quickly and communicates with warmth and authority
- Enjoys being the person who “just makes things happen”
- Is proactive by default, not reactive
- Can juggle multiple clients and timelines without dropping quality
- Takes pride in doing important work properly
You do not need to come from recruitment. You do need to care deeply about people and outcomes.
What really matters to us
- Personable, confident communication
- Exceptional organisation and follow through
- Emotional intelligence and empathy
- Accountability and ownership
- A genuine belief in helping people succeed
This is not a transactional role. You will be working with people at one of the most important transitions of their professional lives.
Why this role is different
Freedom Recruitment Capital is not a typical business. We back people. We remove risk. We help experienced recruiters build something of their own. This role directly supports that mission. When onboarding is done well, confidence grows. Momentum builds. Lives change. You will see the impact of your work in real time.
What you can expect from us
- A values driven, founder led business
- Work that has real meaning and responsibility
- Trust, autonomy, and ownership
- A growing organisation where your role will evolve and expand
- The chance to be genuinely proud of what you do
If you’re reading this and thinking… “I’m the person people rely on.” “I’m calm when others aren’t.” “I like being the glue that holds things together.” Then we would love to hear from you.
