Edge Staffing is currently looking for an experienced Hookloader Driver to work with our client based in Birtley. Temp to perm work available.

Job Details

  • Start time: between 4.00am - 5.00 AM
  • Finish time: Around 3:00-4:00 PM
  • Days: Monday to Friday with a potential for a Saturday shift as and when
  • Pay: £14.00 per hour for the first 8 hours, £20.35 per hour after 8 hours, £20.35 for any Saturdays worked

Requirements

  • Valid HGV2 license
  • Experience driving hook loader vehicles
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • No more than 6 penalty points (no DR or IN codes)
  • Strong knowledge of UK road laws and good driving practices
  • Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude

Responsibilities

  • Delivering, collecting and exchanging containers on commercial customers' sites and also servicing containers at HWRCs (household waste recycling centres) around County Durham.
  • Transporting waste to disposal sites.
