Overview
Edge Staffing is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 Driver (HGV C+E) for our client on the team valley. Drivers will be required to use PDA – Full training will be given for this. Temp to perm can be available for the right candidates.
Job Details
- Start times from 7am onwards
- Up to 18 – 20 drops a day (mixture of tail lift, side curtain, and bay door tips)
- Collections and deliveries – this can be bulk work.
- Drivers will required to operate either an urban trailer or normal standard trailer
- Monday to Friday – 43hrs per week (this is with breaks deducted) every 1 in 4 Saturday for 3hrs when full time additional payment is given.
- Full time wage is £32,253
- Meal allowance £108.33 per month when full time
Class 1 Drivers – Requirements
- Minimum 12 months Class 1 (C+E) driving experience
- Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DR or IN codes)
- Strong knowledge of UK road laws and good driving practices
- Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude
