Edge Staffing is recruiting an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (3+ years’ PQE) to join a growing firm in Bridport. Hybrid working may be considered.
The role involves managing a varied private client caseload including Wills, LPAs, Probate, Estate Administration, Trusts, and IHT planning, covering high-value and high-volume work. Secretarial support is provided.
Salary: £45,000–£75,000
Key Responsibilities
- Run private client matters independently from instruction to completion
- Advise clients on Wills, LPAs, Probate, Trusts, and tax planning
- Draft Wills, trust documents, and related paperwork
- Administer complex and taxable estates
- Liaise with clients, beneficiaries, HMRC, and professional advisers
- Ensure compliance, accurate time recording, and billing
- Support department growth and supervise juniors where appropriate
Requirements
- 3+ years’ PQE in private client work
- Strong technical knowledge across core private client areas
- Excellent drafting, organization, and client-care skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively
- Supervisory experience beneficial but not essential
- Additional duties may be required
