In the role of Swim Teacher, you will deliver swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities, ensuring they feel supported and are achieving their goals. The position will be based between Marina Leisure Centre and Phoenix Leisure Centre; you will need to be able to travel across these sites. We support progress through additional training, both formal and on-the-job. Whether you want to move up the ladder or stay where you are, happiness in your work is key.
Hours: 9 hours per week, Monday – Sunday (rota basis)
Key Responsibilities
- Teach swimming to children and/or adults as part of the Leisure Centre’s swimming lesson programme, according to qualification, training and experience
- Communicate with children’s parents/guardians concerning their development and advise on their progression through the programme
- Assist in the supervision of customers in the swimming pool and surroundings, ensuring their safety and discipline
- Maintain excellent communication skills with a genuine desire to work closely with customers

- Level 2 Swim Teaching qualification
