Overview
Swim Teacher (Level 2) – Part Time – Belfairs Swim Centre
Join to apply for the Swim Teacher (Level 2) – Part Time – Belfairs Swim Centre role at Freedom Leisure. You will deliver swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities, ensuring they feel supported and are achieving their goals. Training and support are provided.
Responsibilities
- Teach swimming to children and/or adults as part of the leisure centre\’s swimming lesson programme, according to qualification, training and experience
- Communicate with the children’s parents/guardians concerning their development and advise on progression
- Assist in the supervision of customers in the swimming pool and surrounds, ensuring safety and discipline
- Hours: 5 hours per week, Monday – Saturday (rota basis)
Qualifications
- Level 2 Swim Teaching qualification
- Enhanced DBS check
- Welsh Language skills are desirable
- Excellent communication skills with a genuine desire to work closely with customers
- An ability to assist with children and their parents
