Overview
Swim Teacher – Casual – Knighton Sports Centre. Casual hours, as and when required.
We are a not-for-profit leisure trust with a strong purpose and commitment to support local communities. We provide full training and opportunities for career progression across many facilities.
Responsibilities
- Teach swimming to children and/or adults as part of the Leisure Centre\’s swimming lesson programme, in line with qualifications, training and experience.
- Communicate with parents/guardians about a child’s development and advise on progression through the programme.
- Assist in supervising customers in the swimming pool and surrounds, ensuring safety and discipline.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to work closely with customers.
- Ability to work with children and their parents.
Qualifications
- Level 2 Swim Teaching qualification is desirable.
- Full training will be provided to the most suitable candidate.
- DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service).
