Overview
As a Swim Teacher, you will deliver swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities, ensuring they feel supported and achieve their goals.
Responsibilities
- Teach swimming to children and/or adults as part of the Leisure Centre's swimming lesson programme, according to qualification, training and experience.
- Communicate with children’s parents/guardians concerning development and advise on progression through the programme.
- Assist in the supervision of customers in the swimming pool and surrounds, ensuring safety and discipline.
- Maintain excellent communication skills with a genuine desire to work closely with customers.
- Deal effectively with children and their parents.
Qualifications
- Level 2 swimming teaching qualification or willingness to gain qualification (training can be provided).
- Enhanced DBS check.
