About the role

As the School Swim Coordinator, you will oversee all aspects of the centre’s School Swimming programme and ultimately be responsible for all staff operating within the Schools Swimming lesson programme. You will maintain a close and positive working relationship with the Swim School Manager and develop positive relationships with key external partners.

Requirements

  • Level 2 Swim Teaching qualification
  • Enhanced DBS check
  • Experience in a swim school co‑ordinator/management role
  • Experience of problem solving, customer service and staff management
  • Experience of using courses & bookings management software
  • Understanding of identifying staff training and development requirements and opportunities
  • High awareness of industry developments, new activities, trends and research
  • Commercial awareness contributing to a successful and financially viable operation
  • Passion for the industry demonstrated through continuous professional development
  • Ability to work flexibly with a level of autonomy and decision‑making confidence
  • Excellent communication skills with the strength of character to be assertive and apply empathy where appropriate

Hours: 25 hours per week, Monday – Sunday (rota basis)

Salary: up to £18,118 per annum
