We are looking for a friendly and reliable Splash Pad Attendant to help deliver a fun, safe and welcoming experience for all guests. The role is responsible for the daily operation, safety, cleanliness, and supervision of the splash pad facility as well as supporting surrounding outdoor areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the splash pad to ensure guest safety rule compliance and a welcoming environment
  • Respond to incidents, accidents and emergencies in a prompt professional manner
  • Complete daily opening and closing inspections and routine cleaning of the splash pad and surrounding areas
  • Monitor water quality equipment, pumps, water features and interceptor tank, reporting faults as needed
  • Maintain the volleyball and pétanque courts and complete daily logs, checklists and basic records

Qualifications

  • NPLQ Qualification (training can be provided)
  • Willingness to gain First Aid qualification
  • Willingness to complete a Pool Plant Operators course (training will be provided)
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Strong sense of responsibility with attention to safety and detail
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude

Desirable

  • Previous experience in leisure facilities, pools or outdoor attractions
  • Experience of assisting with the public including children and families
  • Basic maintenance or cleaning experience
  • Interest in water safety or facility operations

Hours: Casual hours, as and when needed. The splash pad operates seasonally from March to October.
