As a Senior Recreation Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting Duty Managers and contributing to the smooth operation of the facility. You will help provide a safe and enjoyable environment for customers and clients, encouraging repeat visits.
Working closely with the Operational Team, your responsibilities will include front-line building management, ensuring the effective delivery of the daily activity programme and supervising and supporting the Recreation Assistant team. You will also carry out a wide range of duties, including equipment set-ups, function rigging and de-rigging while actively engaging with customers, contractors, colleagues and hirers to deliver a first-class experience.
A full training programme will be provided and for those that want to go further, we will work with you to develop a career path with us.

Requirements:
- NPLQ qualification or equivalent
- First Aid at Work
- Enhanced DBS to be carried out
- An ability and understanding of how to relate to customers of all ages and abilities and also to all levels of staff
- Well developed interpersonal skills
- Team orientated approach, able to work across organisation boundaries and demonstrate interest and be supportive of the work of staff and colleagues
- To be able to work flexibly and understand instructions from managers
- Demonstrated passion and energy for the leisure industry
