Recreation Assistant – Responsibilities

You will supervise and assist customers as they use our facilities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all. Your duties include regular cleaning, maintenance and preparation of areas and equipment to ensure everything is in top condition. You will act as the first point of contact for customers, using your social skills and professionalism to create a welcoming and supportive environment.

Requirements

  • Supervise and assist leisure centre customers
  • Be a proactive member of the leisure centre team
  • Understand how to relate to customers of all ages and abilities, and to staff at all levels
  • Deliver excellent customer service at all timesWork flexibly and follow instructions from managers
  • Assist with the preparation, storage, resources, and movement of equipment as required
