As a Lifeguard at the Marina Centre, you will ensure safe and enjoyable experiences for all guests. The centre offers an exciting range of activities, including a leisure pool with slides, splash zone, fitness suite, exercise studios, sports hall, and café overlooking the beach.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the best levels of service for our customers by offering friendly, clean and safe facilities.
  • Provide all training needed to become successful, including lifeguard training and coaching to improve swimming skills if required.

Qualifications

  • NPLQ qualification or equivalent.
  • Enhanced DBS check.
  • Competent swimmer – swim test will need to be completed as part of the interview process.
  • Ability and understanding of how to relate to customers of all ages and abilities and also to all levels of staff.
  • Well developed interpersonal skills.
  • Team oriented approach, able to work across organisation boundaries and demonstrate interest and be supportive of the work of staff and colleagues.
  • To be able to work flexibly and understand instructions from managers.
  • Demonstrated passion and energy for the leisure industry.
