This role is for Lifeguard at Knighton Sports Centre. We understand engaging with customers and colleagues can be challenging and sometimes requires experience. We will provide all the training needed to be a successful Lifeguard and welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds, including those in their first job seeking more support from colleagues.
Role and responsibilities
In the role of Lifeguard, you will ensure the best levels of service are achieved for our customers by offering a friendly, clean and safe facilities.
Requirements
- NPLQ qualification or equivalent
- First Aid at Work
- Enhanced DBS check
- An ability and understanding of how to relate to customers of all ages and abilities and also to all levels of staff
- Well developed interpersonal skills
- Team orientated approach, able to work across organisation boundaries and demonstrate interest and be supportive of the work of staff and colleagues
- To be able to work flexibly and understand instructions from managers
- Demonstrated passion and energy for the leisure industry
- Regular cleaning, maintenance and preparation of areas and equipment as appropriate
Hours
29 hours per week, Monday 14:45-21:00, Wednesday 14:45-21:00, Saturday 8:30-16:30, Sunday 8:30-16:30
Salary
Salary: Up to £18,462 per annum
