At Freedom Leisure we offer a friendly working environment with variety every day. If you like talking to people, this role is for you. We provide training to be a successful Lifeguard and welcome applicants from diverse employment backgrounds, including first-time job seekers who may need more support from colleagues.
As a Lifeguard, you will ensure high levels of service by maintaining friendly, clean and safe facilities.
You will need to be able to swim competently. If you require extra coaching, a swim teacher will support you to improve. If you wish to progress, additional training (formal and on-the-job) is available. It is equally acceptable not to pursue a ladder climb, as long as you are happy in your work.

Requirements
- NPLQ qualification
- Enhanced DBS check
- First Aid at Work (desirable)
- Ability and understanding to relate to customers of all ages and abilities and to all levels of staff
- Well developed interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented approach, able to work across organisation boundaries and support staff and colleagues
- Flexible and able to understand instructions from managers
- Demonstrated passion and energy for the leisure industry
