Being a Lifeguard with us is great as you will develop life-long skills like teamwork and communication. We provide fully funded training in the recognised NPLQ lifeguarding qualification which will give you the skills to excel. Our Lifeguards are an integral part of our team and have gone on to become swim teachers, supervisors and more; we will support you to develop to reach your potential. We provide you with full training and great potential for career progression across over 100 facilities across England and Wales. Many of our staff have built successful careers with us because they love having a positive impact in their local communities and enjoy the variety the role provides.
Requirements:
- NPLQ qualification or equivalent
- First Aid at Work (desirable)
- Enhanced DBS check
- Ability to relate to customers of all ages and abilities and also to all levels of staff
- Well developed interpersonal skills
- Team oriented approach, able to work across organisation boundaries and be supportive of staff and colleagues
- Ability to work flexibly and follow instructions from managers
- Demonstrated passion and energy for the leisure industry
- Regular cleaning, maintenance and preparation of areas and equipment as appropriate
