Overview
We’re looking for a Fitness Instructor with a real passion for fitness and the relevant qualifications to join our team. You’ll inspire people to train, tailor workouts to individuals, and ensure they use equipment safely and effectively. The role is varied and people-focused, with opportunities to work with clients one-to-one, offer workout advice, check equipment, or teach classes. We aim to create a welcoming, inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
Hours: up to 8.5 hours a week, Monday – Sunday (rota basis).
Responsibilities
- Instruct fitness sessions at various levels of ability, both group and individual.
- Assist gym users with exercise queries and programs on a day-to-day basis.
- Provide the highest standards of customer service and safety in accordance with policies, procedures and systems.
- Inspire clients to train, tailor workouts to individuals, and promote safe and effective use of equipment.
- Carry out duties as required to support a positive fitness experience for all members.
Qualifications
- REPs Level 2 Fitness Instructor (required).
- REPs Level 3 Personal Trainer (desirable but not essential).
