We are looking for a Fitness Instructor to join our team. We are looking for someone who has a real passion for fitness along with the relevant qualifications. As a Fitness Instructor, you need to inspire people to train, tailor the workouts to the individual making them fun and effective, ensuring that they use the equipment both effectively and safely. The role of a Fitness Instructor is varied and interesting as you never know who your next client is going to be, so you will need to possess excellent people skills to build trust and confidence.
You will also step into an exciting role as our Exercise GP Referral Instructor, where you will play a key part in supporting the GP Referral Programme. You will guide clients with safe and effective exercise prescriptions and track their progress to help them achieve life-changing results. We are ideally looking for someone with a GP Referral qualification, First Aid Certificate and Defibrillation training. If you do not have the GP Referral qualification yet, we can provide full training.

Hours: 16.5 hours per week, Monday - Sunday (rota basis)
Requirements:
- Level 2 Fitness Instructor
- Level 3 Personal Trainer
- Exercise referral qualification
- Level 3 GP referral (Training can be provided)
- CIMSPA Registered
- Experience of managing a varied workload
- Previous Fitness Operational experience
- Health Promotions experience
- Excellent communicator
- Excellent people management skills
- Well developed interpersonal skills, able to negotiate and persuade
- Team orientated approach
Desirable:
- Group exercise related qualification
- Group Exercise Teaching Experience
- First Aid at work
- Cardiac Rehab qualification
- Level 4
- Experience of sales
- An ability to analyse problems and present creative solutions
- Assertive and use of initiative
