Duty Manager – Part Time – Desborough Leisure Centre
Join Freedom Leisure, a charitable leisure trust committed to Improving Lives Through Leisure. We run leisure and cultural facilities, gyms, and swimming pools, and we focus on delivering excellent customer service and supporting our communities.
We’re recruiting Duty Managers on a part-time basis to work at our centre. You will be part of the Centre Management Team, helping deliver a wide range of services, ensuring customers receive an excellent experience, and contributing to improving people\’s lives through leisure.
Hours: 25 hours per week, on a rota basis (Monday to Sunday).
Responsibilities
- Actively manage and develop and motivate a team of operational staff.
- Be responsible for day-to-day duty management and running of the leisure centre to a high standard.
- Contribute to and understand the business and budgetary performance of the centre.
- Be a proactive member of the leisure centre team.
- Show a passion for the industry with ongoing professional development.
- Experience in problem solving, customer service and staff management.
- Experience in a Duty Management or similar role.
- Work flexibly with autonomy and decision-making confidence.
- Able to think on your feet and respond to variable demands.
- RLSS National pool qualification (desirable; training can be provided).
- DBS check.
