We are looking for a passionate Swim Teacher who loves talking to people and creating great experiences. No prior expertise is required – we will provide all the training and support you need.
Role Responsibilities- Deliver swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities as part of the Leisure Centre's swimming lesson programme.
- Communicate with children’s parents or guardians about their development and advise on progression through the programme.
- Assist in the supervision of customers in the swimming pool and its surroundings, ensuring their safety and discipline.
- Provide support and encouragement to help customers achieve their individual goals.
- Level 2 Swim Teaching qualification (desirable).
- Experience teaching swimming to children and/or adults.
- Excellent communication skills with a genuine desire to work closely with customers.
- Ability to work with children and their parents.
- DBS check.
- Welsh language skills are desirable.
- Basic understanding of workplace health, safety and welfare principles.
