We are looking for a passionate Swim Teacher who loves talking to people and creating great experiences. No prior expertise is required – we will provide all the training and support you need.

Role Responsibilities
  • Deliver swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities as part of the Leisure Centre's swimming lesson programme.
  • Communicate with children’s parents or guardians about their development and advise on progression through the programme.
  • Assist in the supervision of customers in the swimming pool and its surroundings, ensuring their safety and discipline.
  • Provide support and encouragement to help customers achieve their individual goals.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Level 2 Swim Teaching qualification (desirable).
  • Experience teaching swimming to children and/or adults.
  • Excellent communication skills with a genuine desire to work closely with customers.
  • Ability to work with children and their parents.
  • DBS check.
  • Welsh language skills are desirable.
  • Basic understanding of workplace health, safety and welfare principles.
