Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the bar team during events, ensuring every shift runs smoothly and professionally.
- Maintain high standards of service and uphold licensing laws including Challenge 25; guarantee responsible alcohol service.
- Manage opening and closing procedures, stock management, and ensure compliance, security and presentation to the highest standard.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere, handle customer enquiries and feedback with confidence and care.
- Work closely with the Event Manager to deliver memorable guest experiences while promoting Freedom Leisure products and events to boost engagement and sales.
- Lead with confidence in a friendly, forward-thinking team.
Requirements:
- 18+ due to licensing requirements.
- Experience of working in a customer facing catering environment.
- Experience of managing a varied workload.
- Supervisory experience including team supervision, rota management and handling customer comments.
- Ability to establish key relationships swiftly and appropriately.
- IT skills including Excel.
- Good understanding of people management and role modeling expected behaviours.
- Ability to analyse problems, think laterally and present creative solutions.
- Knowledge of licensing laws and food hygiene regulations.
- Awareness of cost-effective methods of working.
- Drive and energy to enthuse staff.
- Team-oriented approach, able to work across organisation boundaries and support colleagues.
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable).
