At Freedom Leisure, a leading charitable leisure trust committed to improving lives through inclusive, welcoming facilities, we’re looking for an Aquatic Impact Manager to supercharge our Learn to Swim programme across key local authority partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Being proactive, on-site and driving local teams with strong leadership, accountability and energy
  • Recruiting, training and motivating brilliant swimming teachers
  • Driving growth in our swimming lessons by turning enquiries into happy swimmers
  • Leading and delivering exciting local marketing and outreach campaigns to bring more learners through our doors
  • Making sure our pools are buzzing with activity through smart use of pool space

Hours: 37 hours a week (flexibility required for evenings/weekends)

Requirements

  • Knows their way around a Learn to Swim or leisure programme
  • Has leadership sparkle – able to inspire, influence and drive results
  • Is organised, ambitious and loves exceeding targets
  • Loves combining marketing, sales and people skills to make things happen
  • Is happy to travel between our partnerships and diving into local communities

Desirable skills & experience

  • Proven track record in swimming programme management and growth, leisure management or related community sport development
  • Strong marketing, sales and customer engagement skills
  • Experience in workforce recruitment and training
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with ability to influence at all levels
  • Highly organised, results-driven, with evidence of delivering against growth targets
  • Willingness to travel across multiple partnerships
  • Experience of working within a leisure operator or large-scale LTS programme
  • Knowledge of Swim England frameworks and standards
  • Understanding of community outreach and engagement strategies

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum + £2,000 car allowance
