Freedom's Network Services team is looking for an Assistant Design Engineer within Earthing to join an established team and contribute immediately. We seek a competent individual to handle a significant number of site-based activities and participate in a development plan to enhance their skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting Principal, Senior, and Design Engineers in delivering various projects.
  • Supporting earthing projects to ensure timely delivery within proposal deadlines.
  • Building strong client relationships through regular communication, both written and verbal.
  • Participating in design team meetings via Teams or in person.
  • Providing engineering solutions to site-based issues through TQ/RFI processes.
  • Conducting, supervising, and demonstrating site visits for earthing assessments and design commissioning, requiring fundamental understanding and experience.

Qualifications and attributes we're looking for:

  • Willingness to travel to site approximately three out of four weeks per month.
  • Trustworthy and competent in conducting site activities and collecting accurate data.
  • AutoCAD experience is desirable, with some field experience.
  • Knowledge of high voltage earthing design and familiarity with CDEGS software (MALZ, MALT, RESAP) is beneficial.
