Location: London strongly preferred but negotiable for the right candidate based in Glasgow or Manchester in which case frequent attendance in our London centre will be required. We are seeking a dynamic and innovative National Director of Clinical Services to lead ongoing transformation of our services for survivors of torture and achieve our goal to be recognised in the UK and globally as a clinical centre of excellence in torture rehabilitation. About the role This is an executive level role providing leadership for our services for survivors of torture and contributing as a member of our senior management team to the overall strategy and stewardship of Freedom from Torture. The role is responsible for setting the direction of Freedom from Torture’s services, building on our trailblazing commitment to co-designing and co-delivering torture rehabilitation services with survivors of torture themselves and helping us to drive up service access. The role also oversees our legal advice and welfare service and our medico-legal report service, although a legal background is not required.
